Alps National Geriatric Care Advisor Examination-There is no substitute for years of experience in a changing world where 30 years ago many social workers and professionals may have begun work in the field of Geriatrics and had Associates and Undergraduate degrees that were unrelated to the Social Worker Curricula, but now have years of practical experience that ultimately qualifies them for Geriatric Care Advisor Certification. The exam and certification is FREE.

If you meet the above stated guidelines and qualify for Geriatric Care Advisor Certification, email us a photocopy/scan of your credentials and work history and we will forward your Certificate and you will be added to our national registry of Geriatric Care Advisors.
All individuals who desire the professional recognition of "Certified Geriatric Care Advisor" must hold at least one of the four certifications listed below “or” meet additional criteria as outlined below and/or pass the ALPS National exam for Geriatric Care Advisor Certification.
***Clinical Social Worker in Gerontology (CSW-G) Masters in SW ***Advanced Social Worker in Gerontology (ASW-G) Masters in SW
Additional Criteria for Candidates: Individuals with the following credentials and a minimum of two years supervisory experience may also receive Geriatric Care Advisor Certification.
